Service users from Auden Unit at Hollins Park Hospital recently had a day trip to Liverpool Football Club to attend the Anfield tour.
Despite several changes of travel between buses and trains, they made it unscathed.
Six patients attended and were treated to lunch in a Liverpool themed café followed by a trip to the LFC shop where they purchased several items including scarves and souvenir cups.
The tour was organised by Liverpool FC staff and the group were given their own individual tour with their own tour guides, who were very patient and polite throughout. The tour involved going into the dressing room, the press room, the dug out and also the Liverpool FC museum and much more.
"The six guys were still buzzing from the trip days later and have memories to treasure."
