We are currently offering this as a 2 hour workshop via MS Teams.

The workshop will include the following:

  • The importance of selecting for Values and Behaviours
  • The 4 stages of the Interview Process – Preparation, Contact, Control and Close
  • Techniques to ‘peel back the layers’ to understand candidates attitudes and recruit the ‘right’ candidate
  • Using the Six C’s and Trust Values during the interview process
  • How we can use Values Based Interviewing to increase Safeguarding
  • Group work, discussions and sharing good practice
  • Safe Practice Time and One to One feedback

This one day interactive course is designed for all managers involved in Recruitment.

  • Vacancy Authorisation Process using Trac
  • Attraction (including advert writing, pre-screening questions during the advert stage & social media)
  • Shortlisting using Trac
  • Organising interviews (how to prepare for them, application forms, declaration forms & what forms to send to Resourcing)
  • Service user involvement
  • Offers and pre-employment checks
  • Visa’s – the basics
  • How to recruit quickly
