We are currently offering this as a 2 hour workshop via MS Teams.
The workshop will include the following:
- The importance of selecting for Values and Behaviours
- The 4 stages of the Interview Process – Preparation, Contact, Control and Close
- Techniques to ‘peel back the layers’ to understand candidates attitudes and recruit the ‘right’ candidate
- Using the Six C’s and Trust Values during the interview process
- How we can use Values Based Interviewing to increase Safeguarding
- Group work, discussions and sharing good practice
- Safe Practice Time and One to One feedback

This one day interactive course is designed for all managers involved in Recruitment.

- Vacancy Authorisation Process using Trac
- Attraction (including advert writing, pre-screening questions during the advert stage & social media)
- Shortlisting using Trac
- Organising interviews (how to prepare for them, application forms, declaration forms & what forms to send to Resourcing)
- Service user involvement
- Offers and pre-employment checks
- Visa’s – the basics
- How to recruit quickly
