Here at Mersey Care, we want every member of staff to feel engaged and empowered in their role. Research tells us that high levels of staff engagement can help us tackle some of the workforce challenges we and other NHS organisations face in recruiting and retaining staff, by reducing staff turnover and lowering sickness. Additionally, we know that staff who are engaged in their roles are often those who go the extra mile to deliver outstanding care and do everything within their influence to give our patients the experience they deserve.
At Mersey Care we provide a range of ways for staff to have a voice. Sharing your experience of work – what works well, what could be better, and the ideas and suggestions you have for how things can improve – is really important feedback that the Trust uses to help prioritise projects and improvements that need to happen.
