Jean Clare, Occupational Therapist and Allied Health Professions Workforce Lead, is retiring after 40 years in the NHS. Jean has been a really important part of the corporate AHP Leadership team over the last couple of years leading on our AHP Workforce Plans and supporting a number of programmes of work linked to workforce development.

Jean will be returning as Preceptorship Lead soon.

Her colleagues wish her a happy retirement and have shared messages below.

Wishing you a long and happy retirement.  It has been a pleasure to work with you over the years on various projects and I hope you enjoy your new found freedom.

Best Wishes,

Wishing you a happy retirement albeit shortlived as you return to take up your new role in MCFT in a few weeks. I wish you every success in your new role and enjoy the freedom of working more flexibly in retirement to allow you the time to take up new opportunities and more time to enjoy the things you love.  Thank you for all the support you’ve given me over the years.  Very best wishes, Jo Barnfield xx
