Health Needs Assessment 2025: Help shape your wellbeing support
In 2021 and 2023, we asked for your views on wellbeing at work as part of our two-yearly Health Needs Assessment, and you responded. Thanks to your feedback, we’ve:
- Enhanced our Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service offer with increased access to support, resources and activities.
- Updated policies where we collaborated with colleagues to reflect real and lived experiences. For example the Menopause Policy and the Prevention and Management of Workplace Stressors.
- Further developed your Staff Wellbeing Hub to support your mental, physical, financial, and social wellbeing.
Your feedback as part of the new 2025 Health Needs Assessment will directly impact future wellbeing support – click here to start.
What is the Health Needs Assessment (HNA)?
The Health Needs Assessment is your chance to tell us how you’re doing and what support you need. This year’s survey includes questions on mental, physical, social, financial, and environmental health, based on previous requests from our staff networks.
Unlike the People’s Pulse and NHS Staff Survey, the Health Needs Assessment is an ongoing conversation we have with our workforce dedicated to ensure we continue to shape and provide wellbeing support that best meets our colleagues’ needs.
We continue to work in challenging times, which is why it is vital that we get as much insight as we can, to inform a wellbeing offer shaped by our people's views and voice.
