Mersey Care has a clear strategic vision set out until 2028 including leading the way on whole person and lifelong care that helps people live healthier lives. We are in year two of our strategy and we believe our strategy fits with the early requirements to deliver against the 10-year plan and in particular push towards community-based care, preventative health and digital transformation.In order to achieve these three shifts there is real ambition and appetite to focus on efficiency and productivity [using the resources we have to the maximum] and ensuring accountabilities are clear across organisations and systems. The development of integrated neighbourhood models is front and centre in this plan as the NHS look to take the primary and secondary prevention agenda and embed them into new ways of working. As a result of this the leadership model has been reviewed.
