Congratulations to Julie Regan, who took part in a 26 mile hike around North Lake District on 4 September, raising £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
"It was a tough challenge, with no chance for training due to a last minute decision to register 2 weeks before the event, so I was pretty nervous to say the least.
With the motivation and encouragement of my friends, family and especially my team at Informatics Merseyside, I managed to complete the course in 10 hours 4 minutes, raising a massive £1000 for Macmillan. It was an amazing day and I met some inspirational people along the way who have been affected by Cancer themselves or have lost/ are losing someone close to them. Lots of tears, smiles and sweat! I would do it again in a heartbeat.
