Carole Westhead, Operational Administration Manager, is retiring at the end of August, taking some well earned quality time to spend with her family and friends after 40 years NHS service and we would like to wish her all the very best for her future.
Carole has provided 45 years of continuous service to the NHS within Sefton and Liverpool community services. Carole has, for most of her NHS career been in a leadership role and has led a considerable amount of variable admin teams deliver efficient and effective service provision through numerous organisational change processes.
Carole also worked significantly hard throughout the COVID-19 pandemic ensuring that community reception areas and Walk-in Centres were staffed appropriately and safely, working on reception herself to support her team members who were unable to work due to the need for shielding.
As well as leading and delivering community admin services for both patients and service users, Carole has also brought lots of laughter and kindness to her friends and colleagues throughout her lengthy career.
On behalf of the organisation, we would like to wish Carole a happy and healthy future retirement and let Carole know that she will be missed by all her friends and colleagues within Mersey Care.
