Further to earlier communications about hybrid working and relocation of colleagues currently based at: Babbage House in Liverpool Innovation Park, V7 building in Prescot, Hollins Park House in Winwick and those previously at Burlington House in Crosby, we can now confirm that colleagues based at Puma Court in Prescot are included in this project.

The lease at Babbage House comes to an end early in 2023. The site continues to bring many challenges for those who are based there, for example, the ongoing parking situation. The Executive Team asked that a feasibility exercise be carried out on this and a number of other Trust buildings and based on the outcome, a decision has been reached not to renew the lease.

To facilitate the closure of Babbage House, a number of colleagues will be relocated to the other buildings named above (excluding Burlington House), along with the implementation of a hybrid working model. Everyone involved in these moves will be invited to attend engagement sessions that will start later this month. It’s envisaged that moves will likely take place during summer. Your participation and attendance at these sessions is important as a review will be undertaken based on your feedback, managers feedback and service needs. We will then confirm best fit future working arrangements. As a priority, we will actively pursue ways to protect clinical time for services and their patients.

In the meanwhile if you have any questions, please speak to your manager or email: hybridworkingprojectteam@merseycare.nhs.uk
