On Thursday 10 October 2024, NHS Informatics Merseyside (IM) marked World Mental Health Day with a Tea and Talk event at Saturn House.

The event was organised by Gemma Lewis, Corporate Information Lead and Gill Smith, Registration Authority (RA) Technician, who have recently completed the Mental Health First Aider training.

Research shows that talking is good for your mental health. This was the key focus of the Tea and Talk event, which also included an opportunity to learn more about the ways good mental health and wellbeing is being supported in the workplace and what we can all do to help ourselves and each other.

Through the sale of cake, the event raised over £50 for the Mental Health Foundation.
