Centre for Perfect Care leads are thanking the Physical Health Team in Secure Care Division who have seen a massive boost to their National Early Warning (NEWS2) compliance score. The team have worked to tighten timescales for health passports, reviewing and improving them, as well as holding reflective meetings and running new training. Previously at 69 percent, their overall compliance is now at a brilliant 92 percent.
Deputy Director of Improvement and Innovation Steve Bradbury tells us:
“These results emphasise the importance of robust clinical audit as it provides assurance that the processes behind patient care are at the highest standards. I want to recognise the whole team in secure for their progress as well as our auditors Kate Hughes and Dale Williams, supported by Jenny Saunders, Emma Meadwel, Kevin Booth and the Clinical Audit team.
