Support that works for you

If you’re neurodivergent, neuro-curious, or exploring whether you might be, this page helps you understand what support is available and how to access it.

Use this page to explore your options and decide what support feels right for you.

No, no formal diagnosis is needed to access support or to request reasonable adjustments through a Workplace Adjustment Passport.

Read the policy here: HR27 Policy supporting colleagues with mental or physical disabilities

This policy aims to:

  • Break down barriers and support colleagues with adjustments, so they can perform their role
  • Provide guidance for managers on their responsibilities and duties under the Equality Act (2010)
  • Provide advice on reasonable adjustment guidelines
  • Provide guidance about managing attendance and disability related leave
  • Provide guidance on the use of Workplace Adjustment Passport (WAP- HR27A).

  • The passport should co-produced by the colleague and their manager
  • Tailored to the individual and their job role
  • No formal diagnosis is required
  • Reasonable adjustments do not need to be expensive or equipment based and can include more frequent brakes, or workplace adjustments
  • Can be taken with you into a new role and should be reviewed during remobilisation and organisational change (prior to moving to a new role, the WAP should be reviewed with the respective manager.)
