Professional Accounting Taxation Technician

Where will I study?

All apprenticeship work will take place during the learners' working hours and will include:

- Group coaching sessions on Teams
- Individual learning activity (e.g. reading, videos, quizzes, writing in journal) via our online learning platforms
- 1-1 coaching visits on Teams
- Review meetings on Teams with your Damar coach and line manager.

The Mediterm course is delivered via online learning with mentored support. 

What are the entry requirements?

- Completed Level 3 Assistant Accountant
- 2 years financial/accounting experience.
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subjects. This is at the providers discretion and relevant experience will be taken into account.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
- Must not hold an existing qualification at the same subject or higher-level qualification in a similar subject

Apprentices enrolled in this program have the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set, in addition to the analysis, leadership, planning and prioritisation required of a business accounts role. This includes the importance of effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
