The PACIS clinical information is the primary health record for secure mental health inpatient services. The PACIS system is used in Ashworth High Secure Hospital and Rowan View Medium Secure Unit.
Access to PACIS
To access PACIS staff will require a username and password and must complete the Trusts PACIS training and pass the assessment.
Information Governance (IG)
Staff and agency staff employed by the Trust have a contractual duty to adhere to the Trusts Information Management, Technology and Governance Policies and Standards to safeguard the confidentiality of patient information. Staff must adhere to the following and standards that govern the access and use of the PACIS System.

Training (UPDATE COVID-19)
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing rules, the Systems Training Team have stopped delivering classroom training sessions for PACIS. Until it is safe to resume classroom sessions, all PACIS training will be delivered remotely using Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business and WebEx.
Managers will need to use the Systems Training Booking System to book their staff onto PACIS training.
