To ensure our recruitment processes reflect our Trust values and align with best practices, mandatory training has been introduced for all staff involved in recruitment activities.
Values Based Interview Training
- By 31 March 2025: All interview panel chairs must have completed values based interview training. After this date, colleagues who have not completed values based interview training are not permitted to chair interview panels.
- By 30 September 2025: All interviewers must complete values based interview training. After this date, colleagues who have not completed values based interview training will not be permitted to take part in interviews.
Recruitment Process Training
- By 30 September 2025: All colleagues involved in any stage of recruitment and all Trac system users must complete recruitment process training. After this date, new Trac accounts will not be issued unless training has been completed.
Training is delivered in four bite-sized sessions (each booked separately):
1. Session 1 – Pre-authorisation / Authorisation / Advertising
2. Session 2 – Shortlisting / Interview
3. Session 3 – Offer / Pre-employment Checks / Onboarding
4. Session 4 – Immigration / Right to Work
