We’re sad to report the death of Cllr Joyce Holgate, for many years a Governor at Calderstones and known to many locally as the owner of a legendary sweet shop in Whalley for decades. Joyce passed away last week and will have a private burial in Sabden. A memorial service is being held at the C of E church in Whalley at 11am on Thursday 30 June and the Trust will be in attendance.
