This week, one of the most familiar names around Ashworth Hospital was appointed Deputy Director of Security. Jonathan Drew started in security in 1998, later working as staff nurse and ward manager and moving to HMP Liverpool in 2018.
This week Michele Anderton (Director) confirmed his appointment, saying: “Jon brings with him a wealth of knowledge about Ashworth, the wider Secure Care Division and Trust. He’ll be an asset to the Security Department and the colleagues he works with. I’m sure you’ll join me in congratulating him.”
