Elaine Wilkinson, one of Mersey Care’s most familiar names, has retired.

Elaine, Strategic Project Manager, has delivered some of the most significant pieces of trust infrastructure in recent years. Recently, as project lead for Rowan View and Aspen Wood, Elaine has been the lead for two major parts of the secure estate on Maghull Health Park. Rowan View won a number of major national plaudits, including at the Design in Mental Health Awards which Elaine submitted entries for and later accepted the awards alongside colleagues from clinical, estates and design disciplines.

She also worked closely with local communities during the building programmes, including careers fairs at local schools, and was always keen to support the social value of our work.

She is hugely respected and known for her passion for buildings and compassion for those using them. Colleagues paid tribute to Elaine last week in her final meetings for the trust before she focusses on her other main passion – her family.
