Sharon O’Brien started as a Health Care Assistant with the Out of Hours District Nursing Service in 1981, and is celebrating an incredible 40 years with the team this month, which is an outstanding achievement.
The team consider Sharon to be a huge asset and someone who is always prepared to go the extra mile, to ensure our patients receive the outstanding care they deserve.
Sharon’s colleagues want to recognise her dedication to district nursing and the patients she cares for. To have this length of service with one team whilst still maintaining such a high level of enthusiasm and dedication for the role, is truly unique. Sharon’s passion for nursing is evident in everything she does, and we are so appreciative of her continuous commitment to her team and the Trust.
