Jess Phillips MP, the Minister for Stalking, recently visited the Harm Reduction Unit in Winsford in preparation for a series of changes to anti-stalking measures including further protections for victims, which received considerable media coverage this week.
The visit to the unit, which includes our own Dan Price Jones the lead consultant forensic psychologist, was a demonstration of the Home Office’s confidence in our own services.
There was praise from the stalking and abuse lead at the Home Office for the team who said how impressed the minister was with their work. Hannah Sereni, policy lead, told them: “I personally found it really inspiring to hear your colleagues talk so passionately and expertly about what they do. It reminds me why I do what I do!”
