Congratulations to Margaret Alderman on your retirement from the Community Physiotherapy Team; you will be very much missed, but your extensive clinical skills will be welcomed as you return to your roots of treating and caring for community patients.
Margaret qualified as a physiotherapist in 1987. She spent her initial years working in Broadgreen Hospital before becoming only the second physio in the blossoming Community Physio team.
Marg swiftly recognised the value to the community of domiciliary services and progressed through the growing team to become Clinical Lead Physio; a role which she has carried out for 34 years. Marg is praised for making each staff member feel valued within the team as a supportive, approachable leader.
It is testament to Marg’s exceptional leadership skills that the team has remained positive and productive through repeated challenges, including a global pandemic. She has always fought tirelessly to retain the clinical integrity of the service throughout.
Marg has been a strong champion of physiotherapy within LCH and Mersey Care. She has led the team from strength to strength through challenging times and all your friends and colleagues wish you the very best in your future.
