Mersey Care’s Green Champion network aims to provide an opportunity to get involved with sustainability at Mersey Care, allowing you to reduce the Trusts carbon footprint by raising awareness, promoting sustainable behaviours, engaging with ideas to lower our environmental impact, and helping start carbon saving projects across our organisation.
Our last meeting looked at Mersey Care's refreshed Green Plan, waste and recycling, and our sustainability progress so far. We also heard from AHP's Green Champion Lead on some of the brilliant projects staff and patients are working on to improve sustainability across the Trust.
Green Champions also shared their sustainability interests and some of the project ideas they have. If you have any ideas or concerns about sustainability at Mersey Care please email or come along to our monthly sessions where we’ll discuss current sustainability related projects.
Meeting dates
The Green Champion’s Network meeting will take place on the 18th March at 11am. The meeting offers a space where you get involved and support our aspiration to reduce our carbon footprint by raising awareness, promoting sustainable behaviours, engaging with ideas to lower our environmental impact.
