Welcome to our Community Division admin and clinical support services page. The information you will find here is designed to provide lots of information to support you in your role.

Admin and clinical support services are essential to ensuring the NHS runs smoothly. Colleagues safely manage patient pathways, reduce waiting lists, and ensure clinical staff can focus on direct patient care.

Next steps and what this means for you:

  • As shared previously, colleagues in bands 5, 6, and 7 have now begun transitioning into the new model
  • For colleagues in bands 2, 3, and 4 transitions into the new structures will begin from Monday 30 March. Some hubs will move over immediately, while others will transition gradually. Your Admin Hub Lead and line manager will explain what this looks like for you and outline next steps
  • For many of you, there will be no changes to your day-to-day work. Current tasks and ways of working will continue as normal while the transition takes place
  • If you are moving to a different hub, you should already have been contacted by the relevant Admin Hub Lead. If you haven’t received information, please email cssqueries@merseycare.nhs.uk so we can make sure you have the details and the support you need
  • Admin Hub Leads will work closely with teams to make sure all ongoing work is handed over smoothly and without any impact on services
  • We are also carrying out the necessary system updates (including DTL and ESR). By the end of April, we expect all colleagues to be fully aligned to the new structure in these systems. Your line manager or Admin Hub Lead will share updates and support you with any questions
  • If you have a new job title, base or contact details, please remember to update your email signature, follow this guide.

We also shared that there are several vacancies available across the admin hubs a number of these roles are now live. You can find them listed here: Administrative Services

Support remains available at all times, and if you have any questions or would like to talk anything through, please speak with your line manager or one of the Admin Hub leads below.

Thank you for your continued flexibility and engagement as we move through the next phase of our transition. Further updates will follow as recruitment progresses.
