We’re currently doing some work to update some divisional mandatory training subjects following a review. As part of this, you might notice a few changes in your Learning Record — for example, some modules may be removed, have different renewal periods or show differently than before.

This is all part of making sure our training information is accurate, up to date, and aligned with national and organisational requirements.

There’s nothing you need to do right now, but if something in your record doesn’t look quite right, just get in touch with the Learning and Development Team and we’ll be happy to help.

Changes made so far:

  • Care Programme Approach (CPA)

Has now been removed from all colleagues that previously required the training.

  • Epilepsy Awareness and Buccal Midazolam Administration

The training will now have to be completed every 3 years.

  • Extended personal protective equipment (PPE)

The training will now only be required to be completed once.

The work being undertaken, is part of a wider programme of work, and further updates will be provided via comms

Thank you

The learning and development team.
