Justine Nakimuli has started in her role as Freedom to Speak Up Guardian and Cultural Sensitivity Lead.
This is a new role that will focus on enabling colleagues of colour to share their experiences and concerns and have improvement actions taken forward where needed.
Justine will work closely with the Organisational Effectiveness and EDI teams to support the implementation of the Anti -Racist Perfect Care Goal and will be a recourse for colleagues when they are considering the cultural sensitivity of their own teams and services.
Justine’s focus from a Freedom to Speak Up perspective will be within the Mental Health Care Division’s Urgent Care service , where she will be raising the importance of all colleagues feeling able to share any concerns they have and supporting them to do this where required.
