IPC Team would like to wish Ann England a happy retirement. Ann has worked within the NHS for 41 years, starting off as a trainee on Mill Road. She spent several years working as a neo-natal ICU nurse before moving into community nursing as an infection prevention and control nurse specialist.
Ann will be missed by all for her youthful energy, generosity, endless knowledge, and adaptability. She has a wealth of experience, which she gladly shares with all the team. Ann is a born teacher and loves imparting her knowledge to all the team, in fact she has been giving lots of training sessions to the team before she leaves.
Ann will also be missed by all the care homes she has been dealing with for the last 14 years, she has always been a great resource and point of contact for them.
