School Health Team 1 - Liverpool were presented with their Excelling certificate by Lee Taylor in October 2024, and enjoyed a celebratory buffet lunch with their Community Care Division colleagues. Team leader, Charlene Kehoe, said "We would like to thank Mersey Care for the special recognition. This will be an award we will share with pride. Within School Health we are in a privileged position to work closely with the children, young people and the families of our communities, and this includes some of the most vulnerable families. The team go above and beyond each day to ensure every child receives the best possible opportunity to thrive in life. It only takes one person to make a positive impact to a child or young person’s life- and that could be a School Nurse. Team work, dedication, fostering a positive work environment, motivation, a listening ear, and boosting morale makes us the team we are today."
