All residents and those living or working in the Croxteth area are invited to attend an Open Event for the ‘Our Croxteth’ Community Fund on Thursday 9 December, between 2pm and 4pm, at the Communiversity/ Alt Valley Community Trust, Altcross Road. This is an informal chance to find out about a great new opportunity for local Croxteth groups to fund and support local projects for the people of Croxteth, and how you can help choose which ideas get funded.
Local agencies including Merseyside Police, Cobalt Housing and the NHS are working in partnership with the local Community to invite bids for funding which has been designated for the purpose of making Croxteth a better place and to improve the lives of local residents.
Join us at the open event to tell us about the priorities for your area, we are keen to hear from people young and old, from all different backgrounds. As well as looking to encourage local groups to bid for funds, we are recruiting to a community working group who will become the panel who will chose and approve which projects will receive support and funding for the following year.
Come and have a chat with us over a cuppa, we will have refreshments on hand plus everyone attending who gives us contact information will be put in a free prize draw for some handy vouchers in time for Christmas!
