Think Passphrase
Passphrases are nearly impossible to crack, because most of the highly-efficient password cracking tools break down at around 10 characters.
Even the most advanced cracking tool won’t be able to guess a passphrase, especially when using with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- A password is generally one word accompanied by a number,and sometimes a special character
- A passphrase is usually several words, including spaces, numbersand sometimes a special character.
Your passphrase must...
- include words of five characters or more
- have two spaces
- be at least 17 characters in length (including spaces)
Your passphrase must NOT...
- include part of your username
- include common phrases

How do I change my password to a passphrase?
- Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then click ‘Change a password’
- Type your old password followed by your new passphrase as indicated, and then type the new passphrase again to confirm it
- Press Enter.
