As of January 2025, YourInsights now provides a digital front door to Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and access to a new Our People dashboard.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about both can be found on the BI Hub below:
Our FAQs provide explanations about:

If you have any recommendations for additional FAQs, you can use our feedback form or contact the Business Intelligence (BI) Service using the contact form on the BI Hub or using the button below.
The new dashboard format (e.g., Our People) is designed to be opened by any staff member who has logged into YourInsights with a Mersey Care (or IM) email account.
Once the report opens, visibility is customised for individuals via an ESR-aligned user profile. This is referred to as “role-based access” and is an important part of maintaining responsible information governance.
Level 1 report pages present aggregated information, or key performance indicators (KPIs) down to a DTL team level. For Our People, this includes metrics such as training compliance percentages, and rates of sickness absence.
By default, users have access to Level 1 reports for their home division as recorded in ESR. Additional access requests can be submitted via the BI Hub with line manager approval. If you already had access to BI reporting for multiple divisions (e.g., on BiT), those permissions have been replicated.
Level 2 report pages present a detailed breakdown of the data behind each Level 1 metric. Here, there are three categories of information which require additional access permissions: workforce, finance and risks & incidents. For Our People, this applies to all metrics, because they all involve information about workforce.
By default, users have access to restricted Level 2 reporting only for DTL teams where they are flagged as a manager, or which are a part of their management hierarchy. Additional requests can be submitted via the BI Hub with line manager approval and, again, existing permissions (e.g., from BiT) have been replicated.
On rare occasions, it is possible that existing permissions need updating. For example, you may have previously received approval to view workforce data for multiple DTL teams on BiT, but no longer need access to this level of information in your role. If this is the case, please contact us using the BI Hub.
