BBC Northwest Tonight were at Huyton Leisure Centre last week, to film an exercise session designed at preventing falls amongst elderly people in the community.
In 2020 there were almost 1,000 deaths due to people falling, which is why the help and advice being made available is so important. The session had a particular emphasis on staying well and avoiding falls during winter. The exercise sessions are a collaborative approach between Mersey Care and Everton in the Community.
