Lesley Mooney, Picton District Nurse Team Leader, has received the Liverpool John Moores University Award for excellent support for students on placement. The student nomination highlighted that Lesley always took it in her stride and made every student feel valued individually.
The award is nominated by student nurses for an individual practice assessor who has gone out of their way to provide an outstanding learning experience. In particular, the award represents somebody who embodies their profession and acts as an exception role model to students, demonstrating enthusiasm, passion and commitment in their place of work.
