Supporting health and wellbeing (HR07)

This policy is aimed at supporting attendance consistently and fairly across Mersey Care. The policy sets out the way attendance will be supported in relation to sickness absence, our responsibilities and accountabilities, and how absence will be reported, recorded and monitored.

Supporting staff with mental or physical disabilities (HR27)

This policy is about ensuring that employees with long term physical or mental health conditions are supported to remain in work and have access to the same opportunities as people who do not have health conditions, in line with the 2010 Equality Act.

This policy sets out the guidelines for colleagues and managers on providing the right support to colleagues pre, peri and post menopause symptoms at work.

Prevention and management of workplace pressures (HR13)

The purpose of this policy is to provide information and guidance to trust managers and colleagues on the management of workplace stressors.

The policy applies to all trust colleagues. The trust has a duty to ensure that all workplace risks are managed appropriately, including the management of work-related stress. This policy has been developed in line with guidance from the Health and Safety Executive.
