Mental health effects everyone. We all have times when we feel down or stressed. Most of the time those feelings pass, but sometimes they develop into a more serious problem. This can happen to anyone.
Pregnancy and the first two years after having a baby is a really important time for the mental health of parents as you are more vulnerable to mental health challenges. As part of routine care through the NHS, the professionals you see should be asking about your emotional wellbeing as well as your physical health. However mental health is not always an easy thing to talk about, for the professional or the person using the service.
Cheshire and Merseyside NHS want to understand what has been good about these conversations during your experiences, and what you think could be done to improve these conversations for other families.
Please take five minutes to share your experiences and opinions in this short online survey and share with service users. The survey will stay open until 21 November 2022. Click here to complete the survey.
