Work is continuing with the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system supplier to consolidate the two instances of the system.
Agreement has been reached between the Trust and the system supplier regarding the planned approach to safely manage the transfer of information from the current EPMA instances onto a harmonised single instance for use across the enlarged Trust.
A milestone plan is in development to outline the sequence of activities to upgrade, merge and test the system prior to broader deployment across other areas of the Trust.
An indicative timescale for system harmonisation is Q1 2023/24.
