The trust is working in collaboration with the Improving Me Local Maternity System in Cheshire & Merseyside and Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the maternal mental health service which supports local communities to access treatment and care if they’ve experienced loss, distress or trauma during pregnancy and birth.
It’s been four months since we launched our pilot service for patients in Knowsley, Liverpool, St Helens and Wirral and we’ve received more than 80 referrals.
From 22 August, we will extend this offer and accept referrals for patients in Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Halton, Sefton and Warrington.
As we expand our service, we would like to invite you to a day of ‘Collaboration and Conversation – Service Launch Day' on 20 September 2022.
The day will include an update on the service, the model, service user stories, interactive fun sessions, networking opportunities and more.
