NHS Staff Survey results

Our response rate for the NHS Staff Survey 2024 was 48%. This is 9% higher than in 2023, with our response rate growing by 16% overall across the last four years.

It’s important to us that we hear from as many colleagues as possible as this helps ensure the results of the survey are reflective of everyone across our workforce.

Our external survey administrator provides the Trust with weekly response rate updates throughout the survey window that helps us monitor progress. These are issued to the Trust as percentages and numbers - no details of individual completion are shared (see more information about confidentiality in the FAQs below).

Your feedback continues to play a vital role in shaping how we improve your experience at Mersey Care.

Following the survey, we held a series of Your Voice Your Change conversations to gain deeper insight into your lived experiences and explore what matters most to you. These conversations have helped us better understand the challenges and opportunities across the organisation.

Your feedback from the NHS Staff Survey is used to inform actions to improve your experience of working for Mersey Care.

One action that has been taken this year was our Your Voice Your Change Campaign which we used to dig deeper into what you shared in the NHS Staff Survey. Action in response to your feedback through Your Voice Your Change is starting to take shape and this will be shared on YourSpace: Your Voice Your Change.
