The Specialist Palliative Care service delivered in Knowsley and St Helens, is extending their operational hours from 12 January 2026, so they will be available from 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year.
The service operates an integrated nursing and medical model with the Willowbrook Hospice Team and has a caseload of highly complex patients. This service enables the patient to achieve their preferred place of care and death, as well as preventing inappropriate hospital admissions.
