Question: I am a substantive colleague and would like to join the Bank, how do I do this?
Answer: Your line manager will need to complete a contractual change form on SharePoint and select "Set up Secondary Bank Post" from the drop-down menu.

Question: I am a student on placement and would like to join the Bank, how do I do this?
Answer: Complete the Student Sponsorship Form to join the Trust Bank. There are two parts to this form one which is completed by yourself and the second part completed by your practice assessor. You can find the link to the form and more information here
Question: I used to work on the Bank and would like to re-join, how do I do this?
Answer: If your bank post was terminated you will need to apply for an external vacancy. All vacancies are advertised on the Mersey Care vacancies
Question: I am leaving my substantive post but want to remain on the Bank, how do I do this
Answer: When your manager is completing your leavers form, ask them to select the “remain on bank option”. You will then be sent an email which will ask you to confirm that you intend to work a shift within the next 6 months and that you accept the bank workers agreement. You must respond to this email within 7 days, if you respond within the designated time a bank assignment will be set up. If you fail to respond you will need to reapply via the external process.
Question: A family member would like to join the Bank, how do they do this?
