This Christmas Day, Riverside District Nurses delivered gifts and a hot meal to some of their most vulnerable patients.
The team collected gifts which included festive treats, socks, gloves and toiletries and delivered them to patients who have no families and were unlikely to receive a gift this Christmas. They also took the patients a hot meal of fish and chips from a local fish and chip shop which was open and offering free Christmas meals for those most in need.
Team leader Erica Daly said,"This is an example of how the Riverside District Nurse team goes above and beyond for their patients 365 days a year."
