Danielle Nicholson, Occupational Therapy Assistant, has arranged a sponsored bike ride which plans to cover the distance from Glasgow to London this week. Danielle, along with many staff across the Trust, have kept up a dedicated pace throughout, making it to Nottingham within just three days! A huge achievement.

All donations will help to improve the Broadoak courtyard, with staff and service users coming together to plan, paint and plant. The aim is to create a calm, tranquil environment for all to enjoy.

Julie Armstrong has also completed a sponsored silence this week to raise money for this fund, helping the team reach a fantastic £800.

Danielle would like to send a special thanks to all who have generously donated so far. The money will make a huge difference to service users in Broadoak Unit.

There’s still time to show support. If you’d like to donate, please contact Tonia.smith@merseycare.nhs.uk  or Julie.armstrong@merseycare.nhs.uk who will add your name to a donations sheet. The team are also having a bake sale at Broadoak reception on 13 May if you'd like to donate in person.
