A recent participation event hosted by Warrington Mental Health Support Team in Schools and Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services, brought together children, young people, and families for a day of connection, feedback, and fun.
Attendees joined our team at Walton Hall and Gardens where they took part in a guided zoo tour and learnt about various animals, this included feeding, petting the animals and learning how to look after them. Following this children, young people and families took part in engaging activities designed to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the onsite classroom. The event provided a valuable opportunity for children, young people, and families to share their experiences and offer feedback on the mental health support and services they’ve received.
This feedback is essential in helping us shape and improve the support we offer, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of those we serve. A huge thank you to all the staff and everyone who attended and contributed to making the day a success.
