It is with sadness that the family have asked us to inform the friends and colleagues of Amanda McBride who has sadly passed away last night after a difficult battle with kidney disease and cancer. Amanda was a dedicated, much loved and respected Senior Social Worker who was Carers’ Lead for the Secure and Specialist LD Division until recently. Amanda will be greatly missed.

Chaplain Karen Jobson has told us that Amanda’s funeral will take place at 2pm on Wednesday 8 September at Greenacres, Blindfoot Road, Rainford, St Helens WA11 7HX. Her family have requested that as many as possible attend, because Mersey Care was such an important part of her life, and that bright colours be worn.
