It is with sadness that the family have asked us to inform the friends and colleagues of Joanne Robinson (Gallagher), Health Visitor based in Wavertree Health Clinic, had sadly passed away on 17 December 2024 following a very short battle with cancer.
Joanne worked for the NHS for over 34 years, as a Registered Nurse before training and working as a Health Visitor at Liverpool Community Health and then transferred to Mersey Care.
She will be sadly missed, and her loss has been felt right across the service.
Her colleagues pay tribute Jo, as she was affectionately known to her colleagues, has worked in the Children and Young Persons (CYP) Service for more than 20 years, starting as a health visitor then becoming a Practice Development Mentor and finally a Health Visitor Team Leader. She has supported numerous children and families, improving their outcomes and has been a great mentor and role model to many staff and students over the years. We admired Jo for all her achievements during her time in CYP, we are all extremely honoured to have had the pleasure of knowing her, she was a privilege to work with. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with her husband, children, and extended family at this sad time.
