Jennifer Robinson, Senior Nurse Practitioner and all the team at our Children’s Community Eating Disorder Service in Knowsley are sending a massive well done to one of our families.

Farina is a dedicated parent of a young person who is known to the service - she has completed a challenge to raise funds for BEAT (UK Eating Disorder Charity) and Coeliac UK. Two fantastic charities close to her heart. The family have been on a rollercoaster of a journey to understand the world of eating disorders and have continued to demonstrate their tenacity and resilience whilst working together as a family to battle the unexpected arrival of an eating disorder in their lives.

Mum, Farina said:

"I have raised £900 in total now as the cafe at the park did a surprise donation when we were there today to round the challenge up to £900. Was so thrilled! When Laila said, “Mum I am proud of you doing this” it topped off the month. I feel very blessed. Thanks to you and your team for all your support".
