Senior Health Care Support Worker - Level 3
Type: Allied Health Professionals (AHPs)
Qualification: Level 3. Equivalent to two A-Level passes
Course duration: 18 months plus 3 months assessment
Intakes: March and September
Assessment type: Coursework (observation, Q&A, professional discussion)
Provider: Riverside college
Where will I study?
One day per week at Riverside College or Broadgreen Hospital.
What are the entry requirements?
This advanced apprenticeship is designed for individuals who are in an assistant or support-based role, within an Allied Health profession service/team. You should already hold a level 2 Healthcare Support qualification or who have experience of working in an assistant or support-based role. You will also need:
- Maths and English qualifications equivalent to level 2*
- Been resident in the UK for the previous 3 years If there is a time limit on your stay, your VISA must cover the duration of the apprenticeship
- Completed care certificate
- Valid DBS
- Have a L2 qualification or worked in current role for a minimum of 3 months
*If you cannot evidence maths and/or English qualifications but can demonstrate you are working at level 2 at initial assessment we will support you to achieve Level 2 Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship.
