Our new specialist dementia care service in Thomas Lane, Knotty Ash, Liverpool, is currenty getting a major makeover to create a dementia-friendly garden area for patients, carers and staff. Landscaping work is due to be completed next month and it is hoped that an outdoor event to showcase the garden can be held at some time later under covid safe guidelines.
This follows the successful move by the older adults’ complex care community mental health team (CMHT) onto the site earlier this month, now co-located with a 16-bed inpatient ward. Watch our short film about the new specialist dementia unit and look out for further updates.
