“The team has consistently gone above and beyond to support neighbouring organisations during cyber incidents, working tirelessly – often late into evenings and weekends – to reduce risks and safeguard vital services. Their quick thinking and effective response have been instrumental in protecting the NHS network.

“A standout achievement was the rapid deployment of new security tools, which significantly strengthened partner organisations’ defences against cyber threats. These efforts have enhanced overall security, built trust, and reduced vulnerabilities.

“Their dedication was further recognised with the prestigious ‘Standards Exceeded’ status in the DSPT toolkit submission, reflecting exceptional performance against the National Data Guardian’s 10 data security standards. The team also played a key role in managing a recent major incident, responding calmly and professionally to gather critical intelligence.

“On behalf of Gary Watts, Cyber Security Manager, and myself… a huge thank you to the team for your outstanding work this year. You’ve been vital to our success and are a true credit to Team IM!”

Congratulations to the team and good luck!
