Leonard Cheshire Home has closed down after many years. Last week, they said goodbye to the last remaining resident.
The resident was well known to our Garston nurses who have looked after him for seven years, they visited him three times a day, seven days a week. They saw him on his last day to say goodbye and take him gifts bought by the team.
Dorothy O’Connor, Operations Manager at the Leonard Cheshiresaid: "Just wanted to say a huge thanks to you and your team, the patient was so very happy and moved by the visit and gifts, he said he will never forget how wonderful you all were for the rest of his life."
