The Forum for Mental Health Technology Innovators event is taking place in central Liverpool on 27 March  from 10.30am to 4.30pm. It is organised by NIHR MindTech HealthTech Research Centre for Mental Health (Nottingham), the Mental Health Research for Innovation Centre (M-RIC), and the Mindset XR Programme from Health Innovation South London. It is joint funded by the UK Mental Health Mission, MindTech and M-RIC.

The event will bring together innovators in digital technology (for example companies who work with virtual reality, augmented reality, apps, medical technology and digital games), NHS research leaders and academic groups affiliated with the UK Mental Health Mission. The aim of the event is to:

  • Foster new research partnerships between industry, academia and the NHS;
  • Discuss areas of unmet clinical need for the NHS;
  • Break down barriers that face innovators, by presenting the support that is available in the UK innovation ecosystem;
  • Inform the innovator community about research opportunities available through the Mental Health Mission;
  • Bring a sharp focus on the talent and opportunities available in the North West and the East Midlands.

Find out more about the event on MindTech's website. A finalised agenda, speaker biographies and keynote titles will be added in the coming weeks.

This is an invitation-only event and we have 10 tickets available for Mersey Care staff to be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you would like a ticket to the event, please email mcft.mindtech.event@gmail.com.

Tickets will be allocated by Friday, 28 February and a link for registration will sent out to the successful applicants.
